OUR HISTORY
I am Richard Joyce, owner and trainer of Prison City Bloodhounds. I have a lifelong history of working with a wide variety of dogs - Bloodhounds, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, English Setter bird dogs, Red Bones, Blue Tics, and Black and Tan Coon dogs - I have trained them all, some for sport, some for law enforcement. I have assisted the local police, area sheriff departments, and military. I've lead my dogs on successful searches for lost individuals, escaped convicts, and helped the KC Metro-Squad on a highly-publicized murder case.
GUIDING PHILOSOPHY
How We Do Things
At Prison City Bloodhounds, our dogs are bred for their disposition, appearance and potential for tracking and trailing. For this reason, we are rigorous in screening and selecting the right home for each animal. Note, we will not separate our babies from their mothers until they are old enough.
